Looking for a great gift for a special young person this Christmas? Look no further!
Learn how to write a proper thank you note and how to respond to a party invitation. Cell phones are ubiquitous now, and it can be easy to make a social faux-pas with them. Make sure you never misstep with etiquette lessons.
Kathleen Joiner is offering youth etiquette lessons this winter for area youth. These lessons will certainly last a lifetime as they provide a foundation of good manners and social skills.
The lessons are for students in grades 5 and up, and they will be held in the Party Room at Trios Restaurant. Lessons will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on three occasions. Session 1 will be January 19, Session 2 is February 2 and Session 3 is February 23.
During the lessons, students will wear dressy casual attire. Topics that will be discussed include confidence building, conversation and listening skills, phone etiquette, host/hostess and guest responsibilities, table manners and more.
Class size is limited, so make sure to reserve a spot. Priority is given based on the order in which reservations are made.
Tuition is $150 per student. If a student cancels two weeks prior to the session, a full refund will be given. A refund of $100 will be given if the cancellation is made one to two weeks prior to the session, and a refund of $50 will be given if the cancellation is less than one week away from the session.
