Original on Sept. 21, 2022: Less than a month after the announcement of a new Whataburger location in Saline County, Whataburger has revealed it is opening a new location in West Little Rock.

According to TMG Construction Management, Inc., the location of the new Whataburger will be at 17100 Chenal Parkway. The area is 7.932 acres across four lots right off of Chenal Parkway. The spot currently contains a carwash and a shopping center.

The City of Little Rock Planning & Development Commission’s records say the subdivision will be completed in one phase. The site is still undeveloped and wooded as of Sept. 8, 2022.

An opening date for Whataburger’s new location has not yet been announced because the commercial subdivision hasn’t been developed yet.

This location will be the burger franchise’s eighth location in Arkansas. There are extant locations in Fayetteville, Magnolia, Texarkana, Rogers and Springdale, as well as one currently being constructed in Benton.
