Weekend Plans With Heather Baker: Casino Night, Peach Festival and More


Bring the family out to the 77th Annual Johnson County Peach Festival this weekend in Clarksville! It kicks off at 10 a.m. on Thursday, and runs through Saturday night. There will be a fishing derby, a frozen t-shirt contest, a peach eating contest, homemade crafts, a bicycle obstacle course, a parade and more!

Win big this weekend at Youth Home’s 8th Annual Casino Night and Texas Hold’em Tournament at Next Level Events. If you’re looking for a fun evening of food, games, drinks and prizes, you won’t want to miss this! The casino features roulette, blackjack, slot machines, craps and more. Players from all around Central Arkansas will also compete in a Texas Hold’em Tournament for thousands of dollars in prizes. It’s $50 for poker admission, and $40 for casino admission.

Visit the beautiful Pinnacle Mountain State Park for Inspect an Insect Weekend this Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Spend time learning about the different insects at the park, and even catch the opportunity to eat one! Admission is free.
