What: Arkansas Boat Expo + The Good Life Expo

Where: Conway Expo Center

When: Friday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., VIP Preview Party: 5 p.m.; Saturday: 12 p.m. , Sunday: 12 p.m.

The new Arkansas Boat Expo and Good Life Expo are debuting this weekend to showcase watercrafts, recreational vehicles, and other outdoor lifestyle products and services. The event will serve as two expos and will include family friendly activities. A Thrill zone will be set up with games, a zipline, prizes and more. What: Evita

Where: Robinson Performance Hall

When: Friday: 7:30 p.m., Saturday: 2 p.m., Saturday: 7:30 p.m., Sunday: 2 p.m.

The Tony Award-winning musical Evita is returning to the Robinson Center this weekend telling the true story of Eva Perón rising from the slums of Argentina to become First Lady becoming one of the most powerful women in the world. This performance includes  the unforgettable songs “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “High Flying, Adored.” Ticket prices start at $23. Get your tickets here.

What: Spring Chicken Chat with P. Allen Smith

Where: Moss Mountain Farm

When: 10 a.m – 2 p.m.

Learn about raising poultry this Saturday and meet P. Allen Smith at Chicken Chat! Tour his private home and gardens and learn about his heritage breed poultry and the importance of preserving rare breeds. P. Allen will be available to answer any questions and will take guests to Poultryville where he feeds, nurtures, and protects his flock of heritage breeds. What: Gardenfest

Where: William F. Laman Public Library (North Little Rock)

When: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Laman Library’s Gardenfest is this Saturday. This event will feature gardening demonstrations, live goats and bird of prey, a plant and seed swap,  free DIY projects, and door prizes. Master gardeners will be there to answer questions and vendors will have items for sale. Free hotdogs will be offered and admission is free.


Saturday, March 16

What: 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Where: Sixth & Main Streets in Downtown North Little Rock; ends at Third & Cumberland Streets

When: 1 p.m.

The 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is this Saturday in Downtown North Little Rock. Grand Marshals for 2019 are Jim & Vera Griffin and “Dancing at the Crossroads” will take place after the parade ends and will feature Irish dance performers from by the McCafferty Academy of Irish Dance and the O’Donovan School of Irish Dance as well as music from marching pipe & drum bands.

What: John 3:16 Wild Game Supper 2019

Where: Verizon Arena

When: Fun and games: 3 p.m., Dinner: 5 p.m., Live Auction: 6:30

Check out the Wild Game Supper this Saturday for a night of fun! Matt Gumm will perform his signature Branson comedy act with bounce houses, games, a BB gun shooting area, and indoor aquarium for the kids! A live auction will also be held with a Grand Prize Giveaway of an Intimidator UTV. Tickets are $10.

Event: Wine and Art Party: Benefiting the Children’s Tumor Foundation

Where: UCA Elizabeth House in Conway

When: 6 p.m. -9 p.m.

Come for the 6th annual Wine and Art Party this Saturday! The event will feature original artwork by Steve Griffin, Ellen Hobgood, Wendy Norris and Mallory Salter. Premiere tickets are $125 and regular tickets are $30. All of the proceeds will go to Children’s Tumor Foundation with their mission to help find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic disease that affects 1:3000 births.

What: Wine and Food Feastival
Where: Wildwood Park for the Arts

When: 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Wildwood Park for the Arts is getting together some of Little Rock’s best chefs to the Cabe Festival Theatre complex with wines, beers and spirits. The event will have live entertainment, a cork pull, and a silent auction that benefits Wildwood Park for the Arts. Tickets are $75. Sunday, March 17

What: 16th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Where: Bridge Street, Hot Springs

When: Festivities Start: 5:30 p.m., Parade Starts: 6:30 p.m.

The 16th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off this Sunday with tWitch starting the parade and Ralph Macchio as the Grand Marshall. Three Dogs Night will perform for a free concert live on Bridge Street after the parade ends.
