What: UALR Dance Harvest 2018
Where: UALR University Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts (5900 University Drive)

Dance into fall with the annual Dance Harvest at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dance Harvest showcases UALR dance students and features choreography by undergraduate students and UALR faculty. The student choreographers are eight Bachelor of Fine Arts candidates who are completing a required two-year choreography sequence. General admission tickets are $10 and $5 for children, students, seniors, military and UA Little Rock faculty and staff. What: 2nd Friday Art Night
Where: Downtown Little Rock
When: 5-8 p.m.
Experience the wealth of art and culture that Little Rock has to offer during November’s 2nd Friday Art Night. Multiple venues are coming together to give an overview of Arkansas’ vibrant creative environment. The Art Night encompasses the River Market District and the Creative Corridor, and there will be tons to see! If you work up an appetite, many venues will offer refreshments, and you can always try one of the great restaurants downtown. 2ndFriday Art Night is free.
What: Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Watch Party
Where: The Fold
When: 5-10 p.m.
Celebrate The Fold’s appearance on Guy Fieri’s show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives this Friday! The restaurant is throwing up an outdoor screen for the viewing party, and Control Little Rock will be jamming before and after the show. Of course, there will be plenty of food! The Fold will be offering food specials and drinks.
What: UCA Planetarium show
Where: University of Central Arkansas Planetarium
When: 8-10 p.m.
Marvel at the evening sky during one of the UCA Planetarium’s public shows. This Friday, the theme will be “Out There: The Quest for Extrasolar Worlds,” which will explore the diversity of worlds and stars in the universe. This is a must-see! The event is free, but late admissions are not allowed.

What: Hansel & Gretel’s Gingerbread Games
Where: Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre
When: 7 p.m. (Friday), 2 p.m. (Saturday & Sunday)
Enjoy a fresh spin on an old tale. In this kid-friendly musical, follow Hansel and Gretel as they out-smart a wicked old witch who lives in a gingerbread house. Don’t worry about your kids getting too scared – the songs are fun and the show is full of laughs! Tickets are $10 for AAC members and $12.50 for non-members. What: Doughnuts with Santa Claus
Where: Statehouse Convention Center
When: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Santa has a busy day on Saturday! He’s starting it out at the Statehouse Convention Center at the Holiday House sponsored by the Junior League of Little Rock. Get ready to have doughnuts, milk and orange juice with the Clauses! Bring your kids and have a photo taken with Santa. They can also enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus and browse toys from The Toggery and Discovery Toys. Parents can take advantage of an unlimited coffee bar from Zeteo Coffee. Admission is $15 per child, and babies six months and under are free with a sibling ticket purchase. Parents, grandparents and special friends are free.
What: Santa’s Arrival at Bass Pro Shops
Where: Bass Pro Shops in Little Rock
When: 5-8 p.m.
Santa’s coming to town this weekend! Don’t miss out on your chance to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops on Saturday. There will be free cookies and hot chocolate, along with a stocking decorating session. Of course, you have to get a free photo with Santa! Plus, Santa will be handing out a $25 Bass Pro Shops gift card every half hour from 5:30-7 p.m.

What: 45thAnnual Ozark Rugby Tournament
Where: Greater Little Rock Ruby Complex (14301 Dineen Drive)
When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Get ready for the annual rough and tumble Ozark Rugby Tournament. Greater Little Rock Ruby is hosting the 45thannual tournament, which will feature men and women’s teams from Arkansas and surrounding states. Admission is free, and refreshment, hot dogs and burgers will be available for purchase. The tournament is holding an item drive for the Shoal Bay Animal Haven, and attendees can donate items in bins set up for that purpose.
