Thursday, April 25 

What: 25th Annual Red Carpet Recovery Gala 2024 

Where: The Venue at Westwind (North Little Rock)

When: 6 p.m. 

Wolfe Street Foundation will be hosting its annual Red Carpet Recovery Gala this Thursday evening, in support of creating a safe space for those in recovery. Proceeds of this event will go toward supporting the recovery center in downtown Little Rock. Mocktails curated by Mocktail Mo, dinner, live entertainment and a silent auction will take place. Thursday, April 25 

What: Mutts and Mudbugs 

Where: The Hall (Little Rock)

When: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. 

Rescue Road will be hosting Mutts and Mudbugs this Thursday evening in order to help offset the costs of heartworm treatment and other life-saving medical needs for dogs in rural Arkansas shelters. Guests will be able to enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, an open bar, live music and a night of dancing. Tickets start at $80, and donations are being accepted online as well. 

 

Thursday, April 25

What: NWA Game Development Showcase

Where: Brewer Hub at University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) 

When: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. 

Ozark Game Developers will be presenting “OZ Play,” a showcase of crafted video games created by local game developers, at Brewer Hub, located on the U of A campus. This showcase will include a combination of students, hobbyists and local independent studios highlighting past and upcoming games through playable demos. 

 

Thursday, April 25 – Saturday, April 27 

What: Gabriel Rutledge Live! 

Where: Loony Bin Comedy Club (Little Rock)

When: various showtimes 

Gabriel Rutledge is known for his witty soliloquies that have resulted in him being a past winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Rutledge has made T.V. appearances on several channels including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Comics Unleashed and Comedy.TV. Tickets may go fast, so guests are encouraged to buy in-advance through the Loony Bin website. 

 

Friday, April 26

What: Le Cirque: Aldersgate After Dark

Where: Camp Aldersgate (Little Rock)

When: 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Join Camp Aldersgate for Aldersgate After Dark 2024. This event will allow guests to experience the magic and wonder of the “Greatest Camp on Earth” as the camp will be transformed into Le Cirque. Complete with feats, fashion and food of the French circus, this annual fundraiser encourages guests to feel like kids again. To learn more about this event, read this earlier AY article. 

 

Friday, April 26 

What: Hannah Berner Live 

Where: The Hall (Little Rock)

When: 7 p.m. 

Hannah Berner, a comedian from Brooklyn, New York, will be visiting Little Rock for a one-night special at The Hall. Known for her viral social media videos and tweets, Berner hosts two podcasts: “Berner Phone” and “Giggly Squad” which have over 50 million downloads combined. The Hall encourages patrons to ride-share, as parking at the venue is limited. 

 

Friday, April 26

What: The Home for Healing Golf Classic 2024

Where: Burns Park Golf Course (North LIttle Rock)

When: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

The Home for Healing Golf Classic will take place this Saturday, serving as a fundraiser for Home for Healing, a nonprofit providing free lodging for cancer patients, parents of infants in NICU and family members of patients in the ICU. 

 

Friday, April 26 – Saturday, April 27

What: Wild Wines 2024 

Where: Little Rock Zoo 

When: VIP Night: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. , Mane Event: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. 

Wild Wines will once again return to the Little Rock Zoo this weekend, and will serve as one of the largest wine tasting events in the state. Guests must be 21-years-old or older to attend this fundraiser for the Arkansas Zoological Foundation, a nonprofit that supports the growth and development of the Little Rock Zoo. O’Looney’s Wine & Liquor has provided hundreds of its best samples for the event for 15 years, and will continue its tradition this year. What: 5th Annual Home Sweet Home Music Festival

Where: Downtown Bentonville

When: Opens Friday at 5 p.m., closes Saturday at 10:30 p.m. 

Home Sweet Home Festival will take place this weekend in homes all around Downtown Bentonville. Featuring 23 hometown artists in 18 national artists, 55 shows will take place across 20 homes. Enjoy alternative, blues, pop, country, rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, indie, americana, folk and soul genres in a unique environment. Tickets start at $95, and can be purchased online. 

 

Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28

What: “Pretty Woman: The Musical” 

Where: Robinson Center (Little Rock)

When: various showtimes

“Pretty Woman: The Musical” is a must-see production, showing at the Robinson Center this weekend only. As one of Hollywood’s most-romantic stories of all time, guests can see the story come to life as Arkansas blossoms into Spring. Saturday, April 27

What: 3rd Annual Party at the Plaza 

Where: The Argenta Plaza (North Little Rock) 

When: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. 

The Third Annual Party at the Plaza will take place this Saturday, with proceeds going toward benefitting the Arkansas Hospice Family of Care. This year’s theme is Arkansas Roots, and the event will feature stand-out live music acts, visual artists and community services that call Arkansas home. 

 

Saturday, April 27

What: Putt Putt Pub Crawl 

Where: River Market (Little Rock) 

When: 11 a.m. 

Guests are invited to dust off their golfing shoes and head downtown as nine bars and restaurants around the River Market District will be participating in Putt Putt Pub Crawl. This event serves to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas’ programs throughout the state. Teams of four can complete their rounds, earn swag bags and enjoy food and drink specials at this event. 

 

Saturday, April 27

What: Cars & Coffee 

Where: Little Rock River Market Pavilions 

When: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Little Rock, get ready, Cars & Coffee will take place this Saturday at its first ever River Market Live! This free, family friendly event will take place with a full range of custom, classic and exotic automobiles. Ottenheimer Hall will be open for diverse dining options and beverages as well as coffee shops and breakfast restaurants. 

 

Saturday, April 27 

What: Kids Fishing Derby

Where: City Hall Pond (Sherwood)

When: 12 p.m. 

Sherwood first responders, including the police and fire departments, as well as MEMS, will be hosting the Kids Fishing Derby this Saturday. Taking place in conjunction with Cops & Bobbers, this program is part of the national program which aims to get kids hooked on fishing rather than drugs. What: AMFA Picnic in the Park

Where: MacArthur Park (Little Rock)

When: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Guests are invited to join AMFA this Saturday as it toasts to a milestone year at the Sparkling Spritz Bar. Tickets are $100 per person, and will include an elevated picnic for guests to enjoy. This event will include a gourmet lunch prepared by Park Grill, signature desserts and a full selection of beer and wine, in addition to live entertainment and special surprises.

What: 11th Annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl

Where: Dickson Street (Fayetteville)

When: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. 

Head on out to Dickson Street to enjoy the 11th Annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl this Saturday. Proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting Fayetteville Animal Services, which was able to adopt out 900 pets in 2023. This event includes a $40 registration fee, and the best brews. 

 

Saturday, April 27

What: Holi Fest 

Where: The Momentary (Bentonville)

When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Holi Festival, also known as Festival of Colors and Festival of Love, will be celebrated this Saturday at The Momentary in Bentonville. Fun food and drinks and a colorful celebration will take place outdoors only. In the case of inclement weather, guests are encouraged to follow Indian Cultural Association of NWA for updates.
