Fayetteville will be the latest home to Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux starting Sept. 6, bringing the total number of locations in the state to four.
The Louisiana-based sports bar chain will open at 1199 N. Shiloh Drive. The grand opening begins at 10:30 a.m., and the first 100 guests in line will have a chance to win free Walk-On’s for a year or a jersey signed by New Orleans Saints football quarterback Drew Brees.
The restaurant concept was created by former LSU walk-on basketball players Brandon Landry and Jack Warner. Brees has since bought in as an owner. The menu focuses on sports bar fare with a Cajun twist, with popular items including their Boom Boom Shrimp, Catfish Atchafalaya, Ribeye Poboy and Zydeco Salad.
Walk-On’s first announced plans to expand to Northwest Arkansas in 2017, and the chain opened its first location in Rogers in 2020. The two other locations are found in Conway and Fort Smith.
