The first day of summer officially kicked off on Thursday, June 20, but downtown Russellville has already been celebrating the season and has many more festivities planned!

 

Check out all the fun events coming up before the first official day of fall, which begins Sept. 22:

  • June 29 – Music Downtown at Sundown
    • Jamie Lou and the Hullabaloo with Magnolia Brown
  • July 4 – Fireworks and Music Downtown
    • Food will be available beginning at 5 p.m., live music will start at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
  • July 27 – Music Downtown at Sundown
    • TBA
  • Aug. 10 – Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party
    • Grab your glowsticks and other neon-like attire and get ready to boogie in the park!
  • Aug. 19 – American Legion Legacy Ride
    • Attendees can meet riders from all over the country, admire their bikes, enjoy live music, food trucks and more!
  • Aug. 23 – Movie in the Park
    • Enjoy a movie at Depot Park! The movie has not yet been revealed.
  • Aug. 31 – Music Downtown at Sundown
    • TBA
  • Sept. 6 – Art Walk
    • Join local artists as they showcase their artwork through various mediums. While you’re observing, make sure to check out the array of food trucks and offerings from the small businesses in the area!
