Starbucks may be coming to the corner of Cantrell Road and Chenal Parkway in West Little Rock. While the popular coffee franchise has not yet confirmed its plans to continue growth in Little Rock, a prominent businessman has alleged that the space will be used to create another Starbucks.


Currently, Central Arkansas is home to dozens of Starbucks locations, including various Kroger, Barnes & Noble and University locations. Little Rock has several locations that span across the city, including one at 7225 Cantrell Rd., 201 N. University Ave., 11121 N. Rodney Parham Rd., 10721 Kanis Rd., 16301 Chenal Pkwy, 12901 Cantrell Rd. and more.


Starbucks in its third quarter fiscal report showed early progress made by the corporate organization including a global sales increase of 3% driven by a 6% increase in average ticket.


“We have clear line-of-sight on what we need to do to reinvent the company, elevate our partner and customer experiences and drive accelerated, profitable growth all around the world,” said Howard Schultz, interim chief executive officer. “The Q3 results we announced today demonstrate the early progress we have made in just four short months.”
