The second annual Shamrock Shuffle 5k fun run + walk will take place on March 11 at 2 p.m. at Two Rivers Park. The Red Shoe Crew is a group of business professionals who support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RMHCA) by hosting networking and fundraising events. All proceeds from this event immediately go to work right here in Central Arkansas to help families who need to stay at the Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAMS while their child is hospitalized.

“We’re excited to host this St. Patrick’s Day-themed run to raise money and bring awareness to the RMHCA mission!” said Tracye Enis, Chair of the Shamrock Shuffle and President of Red Shoe Crew. “Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to grab their green and join us at Two Rivers Park. We’ll have medals, t-shirts and green beer for our runners and walkers, so we know it’s going to be a good time.”

“RMHCA serves thousands of families year-round. Providing free lodging, meals, comfort and support. There is an onsite hair salon, clothing and toys, making sure the families who stay have everything they need. All services are provided at no cost to families,” said Janell Mason, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas. “Our goal is to remove some of their worries so they can focus on their hospitalized child. Thanks to generous donors and fundraisers like Shamrock Shuffle, the Ronald McDonald House can take care of their daily needs and keep them together and near their child.”
