Smalls Sliders, the innovative cheeseburger slider brand, has signed a new multi-unit agreement with existing franchisee Chris McJunkins. This four-location deal marks the brand’s second agreement for Arkansas and its debut in Little Rock.

Chris McJunkins, a seasoned operator with extensive experience in the restaurant industry, will own the Little Rock locations. McJunkins currently operates Smalls Sliders locations in West Monroe and Shreveport and is also a franchisee with Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and Windrush Grill in Shreveport. He plans to open several more Smalls Sliders locations in Little Rock, Conway, Benton and Hot Springs.

“Smalls Sliders is a unique concept that is changing the game for the quick-service industry,” McJunkins said. “Beyond the delicious cheeseburger sliders, it provides a fun and welcoming experience for guests. The response from the community at our first two openings has been amazing, and I’m excited to become the go-to restaurant for the Little Rock community.”

Smalls Sliders is experiencing rapid growth with operators like McJunkins. The brand recently surpassed over 240 open or under-development locations and expects to open 30 of those locations this year, more than tripling its current count.

“Chris has been with us almost from the beginning, and it’s amazing to see him continue to grow with Smalls,” said Maria Rivera, CEO of Smalls Sliders. “This second agreement in Arkansas helps maintain our strong growth trajectory. I am confident Chris will continue to uphold our values and find success with these additional locations.”

Smalls Sliders opened its first signature “Smorange” Can in 2019 and has since disrupted the quick-service restaurant industry with its innovative concept and rapid growth.
