Ring in the Holidays with Science After Dark’s Jingle Booze!


Science After Dark is coming back to the Museum of Discovery this holiday season. Stop by this Thursday, December 6 for a fun night of science and booze! The event will include ugly sweater contests, liquid nitrogen ice cream and more!

Science After Dark provides attendees with a fun and unique opportunity to learn about science. Museum educators will select a science-related topic and create an interactive and entertaining night around the topic. Pizza will be served and a full bar of beer, wine, and cocktails will be available during this event. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event ends at 9 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes access to all museum galleries and interactive exhibits. Must be 21 or older to enter.

Tape & Tunnels

The Museum of Discovery debuted their newest exhibit last month titled “Tape & Tunnels”, sponsored by 3M. This Exhibit is a series of connected slides and tunnels completely crafted with packing tape. This was created and holds up thanks to the engineers’ design. The exhibit will remain at the museum through March 24, 2019.

Noon Years Eve

Come celebrate the New Year with your young kids this New Years Eve as they count down to the Noon Year. The Museum of Discovery is offering kid-friendly activities for young kids from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is covered by the museum’s regular admission price: $10 for adults, $8 for kids and free for museum members.
