The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) recently launched River Market Live, a new live event series set to begin in the River Market District in August 2023. The initial events will feature a diverse lineup of live performances, offering memorable entertainment experiences for locals and visitors alike. River Market Live will begin Aug. 10, with events taking place every Thursday evening throughout the month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the River Market outdoor pavilions located at 400 President Clinton Avenue.

This is the latest addition to existing River Market District programming hosted by the LRCVB. This year marks the 48th anniversary of the Little Rock Farmers’ Market. It’s also the 10th anniversary of Jazz in the Park; a popular free concert series held each April and September that features local musicians.

August’s entertainment series is open to the public with free admission. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on-site. Attendees are encouraged to support Little Rock restaurants before and after each event. Chairs will be provided, but people can bring their own. Pets are welcome, as well.

With an array of musical talent spanning various genres, including Rock, R&B, Bluegrass/Country and Hip-Hop, August’s event attendees can expect a dynamic range of performances. The upcoming August River Market Live lineup is as follows:

  • Aug. 10: Karla Case Band (Rock)
  • Aug. 17: SynRG (R&B)
  • Aug. 24: Gravel Yard (Bluegrass/Country)
  • Aug. 31:  DJ Nick Hud & Friends (Hip-Hop/Funk Disco)

River Market Live is a continuation of the LRCVB’s Big on Little Rock commitment to build local pride in Arkansas’s capital city by showcasing and celebrating its people and its amenities, including restaurants, attractions, entertainment venues, lodging options, retail shops and more.
