Point Remove Brewing Company in Morrilton recently announced on Facebook that it has begun the renovation for its new location in downtown Russellville’s historic Central Fire Station at 203 W. 2nd Street, which is expected to open this summer.

While the original Point Remove in Morrilton continues operations, the new brewpub will be designed specifically to produce hyper-local, small-batch brews that will only be available in its taproom. Two private venues will be available: the fully private upstairs parlor with a capacity of 40 and a conference room for meetings or small groups.

The space also includes large bay doors, allowing the dining room to be made open-air in good weather. Weekly events are expected, such as live music, trivia and karaoke, as are larger events including block party brew days, art exhibitions, cocktail classes and more. Point Remove has also asked the public for feedback on what weekly events they would like to see and has also welcomed musicians to apply for gigs.

“Thank YOU all, reading this right now, for supporting and sipping local with us! Without you, this expansion would not be possible and we are THRILLED to grow with and for you,” the Facebook post stated.
