The PLANTERS NUTmobile is making its way across the country, with six stops planned in Arkansas!

Never seen it before? We have a feeling you’ll know exactly what it is once you see it, but to describe it in a nutshell, the iconic, portable peanut is 26 feet (415 peanuts) long, 8.5 feet (140 peanuts) wide and stands 11.5 feet (180 peanuts) high.

The saltier details include a mixed nut interior motif with a bar, perfect for serving peanuts. (YAY!) It also includes a removable sunroof that features MR. PEANUT himself.

We’ve all heard of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, but what’s up with this PLANTERS NUTmobile? And which came first?

Well, according to our research, it appears that the Wienermobile made its debut the year after the NUTmobile.

The first peanut car was built to be used by a PLANTERS brand salesman in 1935, according to its website. Ever since, it’s evolved from a car to a hot rod, to a whole fleet of vehicles. But as of today, there is only ONE NUTmobile you’ll see on the streets… making it all the more special when you come across it!
