The physicians and medical staff from OrthoSurgeons remain in place. In addition to Drs. W. Scott Bowen and William F. Hefley, Jr., the practice’s partners include Dr. David M. Rhodes, Dr. Jason G. Stewart, Dr. Larry L. Nguyen, and Dr. Samuel A. Moore. Drs. Jesse B. Burks and Joe W. Crow are also surgeons who round out the practice. The group also has four Physician Assistants and four Physical Therapists. They have two Physical Therapy facilities and onsite MRI, as well.
When asked why the name change is taking place, Dr. Samuel Moore stated, “We serve the entire state and the region with excellence in orthopedic care, and our new name makes it easier for patients to reach us. Drs. Scott Bowen and Bill Hefley represent household names in Arkansas and we intend to grow on the legacy of orthopedic excellence that has already been established.”
Within the categories of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, the practice specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries of the hip, knee, shoulder, foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, including minimally invasive techniques. The practice has received numerous Annual “Best of the Best” awards and is affiliated with Arkansas Surgical Hospital, which has received double 5-Star ratings for excellence.
“Our highly-experienced surgeons and staff will continue to provide the same world-class quality and excellence that our patients have known and come to expect,” says Dr Bill Hefley.
