A great place to take a break.

You may know that Guillermo’s Coffee House & Roastery roasts more than 30 types of beans in-house and supplies a number of shops including River City Coffee in Little Rock, Morningside Bagels in Maumelle, Coffee with a Cause in Bryant, and Bookends Café in the Central Arkansas Library System’s Main Library. You may know that they have the largest tea bar in the Capitol City. And you may know their coffees, lattes and cappuccinos are some of the best in town. What you may not know is that they recently opened a second location in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center.

Tucked right next door to Belk, Guillermo’s second location is light and airy and a great setting for a quick cup of Joe, a light lunch or even an intimate business meeting. The rear lounge area features leather seating, a 42-inch TV with HDMI hookup and a 120-gallon aquarium and is available for reservation.

The menu includes fraps, smoothies and protein drinks as well as breakfast items, paninis, a hummus platter, a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and more.

“This is a great location,” said owner Justin Yandell. “It’s a great place to be.” He’s excited about the new café as it has granted him the opportunity to design the shop from the ground up, and wants readers to know they should be on the lookout for more. “I’m thrilled about what we’ve got going on. We’ll soon add soups to the menu as well as gelato, bubble tea and concrete custard.”
