Norwood Day Floral Co. in Little Rock plans to spread kindness one flower at a time by participating in the nationwide Petal It Forward initiative at 9 a.m. Oct. 14 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at 4018 W. Capitol Ave.
A simple act of kindness can make someone’s day brighter, and Petal It Forward is a nationwide movement that encourages participating florists to spread kindness and positivity through the simple gift of flowers.
The concept is simple but powerful: Individuals receive two complimentary bouquets of flowers, one to keep and one to give to someone else, encouraging them to “petal it forward” and continue spreading joy throughout the community.
Whether the flowers are given to a friend, co-worker, family member or complete stranger, the goal is to create a ripple effect of kindness and remind others how meaningful even the smallest gestures can be.
