Comedic powerhouse Nikki Glaser will be stopping in the Natural State this fall as part of her Alive and Unwell tour. The show is set to visit the Oaklawn Event Center on Sunday, Nov. 3, bringing with it Glaser’s signature observations on pop culture, relationships and the absurdities of everyday life. Glaser is an open book, and nothing is off the table in her stand-up, from personal struggles and embarrassing stories to reflections on being a woman in the modern world.

“Nikki Glaser is a renowned comedian whose sharp wit and relatable humor have garnered a huge following, making her one of the most sought-after acts on the comedy circuit,” said Oaklawn Vice President of Marketing Chris Ho.” Hosting her tour at Oaklawn underscores our commitment to providing top-tier entertainment for our guests.”

Glaser recently made headlines for running circles around her fellow comedians on The Roast of Tom Brady. The roast racked up 14 million views in its first week on Netflix, and Glaser’s scorching performance left even host Kevin Hart impressed. That triumph is just the latest of her stellar roasting chops, which include Comedy Central Roasts of Alec Baldwin, Bruce Willis and Rob Lowe.

Her two-decade career shows a track record of success across podcasts, film and television, though stand-up is where she seems to have the most resounding success, and for good reason. Glaser’s debut HBO comedy special, Good Clean Filth, was nominated for a Critics Choice Award; this May, she followed it up with the highly anticipated second HBO special, Someday You’ll Die. Glaser has also guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! and hosted the inaugural MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted to rave reviews.

“Securing talent like Nikki Glaser speaks volumes about Oaklawn’s growing reputation as a premier destination for high-caliber performances,” Ho said. “Our ability to attract such esteemed artists reflects our dedication to creating an exceptional entertainment experience, and it positions us as a significant player in the live entertainment industry.”

Glaser is also an accomplished executive producer, having worked on and hosted the CW’s Lovers and Liars, which premiered in April. Other credits include Welcome Home Nikki Glaser on E!, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser on Comedy Central and Nikki & Sara Live for MTV, plus a spate of appearances across film and TV. From 2018 to 2020, Glaser hosted Comedy Central’s first live daily morning show, You Up with Nikki Glaser, and she has hosted the Nikki Glaser Podcast since 2021. Fans of Fox’s The Masked Singer might also recognize her deep run to third place in the show’s ninth season.

The Alive and Unwell tour runs through December 2024 at venues across the country. This tour comes on the heels of The Good Girl stand-up tour, which kicked off last January.

“At Oaklawn, we pride ourselves on offering a diverse range of entertainment options that cater to all tastes. Whether it’s live music, comedy shows or other special events, we strive to ensure that every visit to Oaklawn is memorable,” Ho said. “We look forward to continuing to bring top-notch entertainment to our community and beyond.”

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. The Alive and Unwell tour is for mature audiences only.

Ticket prices for the show range from $85 to $115. For more information or to buy tickets, visit Oaklawn online.
