A new restaurant is coming to the River Market District of downtown Little Rock, according to Moses Tucker Partners.

The owners of Cantina Cinco de Mayo and Mojitos & Margaritas Grill & Bar, Jose Valadez and Veronica Mayorga, have teamed up to lease the 5,500 square foot restaurant space located at 313 President Clinton Ave in Little Rock. The two plan to open La Chingada in early September 2023 and will offer a variety of Mexican dishes, including an assortment of margaritas, mojitos and a wide range of tequilas from across Mexico.

Valadez and Mayorga have decades of experience in the hospitality and restaurant business and are excited to open their latest concept in the River Market. They’re also excited to be offering brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., with extended evening hours on the weekend.

“We are thrilled to be joining a long line of great restaurants downtown,” Valadez and Mayorga said.

The new restaurant joins other longtime restaurant operators in the River Market, such as The Flying Saucer, Cache Restaurant, Stickyz Rock’n’Roll Chicken Shack, Flying Fish and Sonny Williams Steak Room.

“We’re delighted to have Juan Valadez and Veronica Mayorga build on their many successes and invest in the River Market District as it comes back strong from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Rett Tucker, Co-Chairman of the Board with Moses Tucker Partners.

Chris Moses, Chris Monroe, Greyson Skokos, George Friedmann, Ridge Fletcher and Cam Deacon with Moses Tucker Partners represented the landlord; Matthew Beachboard with Moses Tucker Partners represented the tenant in this transaction.
