Another award is on tap at Lost Forty Brewing. The Little Rock-based brewery just took home a bronze medal at the 2022 World Beer Cup.

The bronze came in the category International Dark Lager for Lost Forty’s Puffy Jacket Baltic Porter. Silver went to Big Ash Brewing of Cincinnati, Ohio, for its Porter’s Porter, and gold went to Morgan Territory Brewing of Tracy, California, for its Dark Reckoning Imperial Porter.

There were 103 categories at this year’s World Beer Cup, with tens of thousands of cumulative entries. The International Dark Lager category drew 106 entries. The medalists’ origins spanned from the United States to Mexico to Canada to Europe.

This isn’t the first time Lost Forty has brought home a World Beer Cup medal. In 2018, it netted two bronzes for its Wild Barrels Project #5 and its Double Love Honey Doppelbock in the categories Experimental Beer and German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock.

Both in 2018 and this year, Lost Forty was the only Arkansas brewery to receive medals.
