The Little Rock Farmers Market returns with its 48th season on Saturday, May 6.

The market will be open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, through Labor Day weekend. The last day of service will be Saturday, Sept. 2.

The Little Rock Farmers Market is located inside the River Market, at 400 President Clinton Ave., under two outdoor, open-air pavilions overlooking Riverfront Park and the Arkansas River. Along with farm-fresh produce, the market offers a variety of locally-prepared cottage foods and handmade arts and crafts.

Many vendors accept SNAP benefits. And according to its website, the Little Rock Farmers Market is also a proud participant in the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program where patrons can have up to $20 worth of SNAP tokens matched for free to use at the market.

Visitors can park in the lot behind the market, as well as in the River Market Parking Deck at 2nd and River Market Avenue. Parking is free.
