Arkansas’ Justin Moore, a 12-time No. 1 hitmaker, released his latest single “Put A Boot In It,” on July 26. Known for hit tracks such as “Selfish Man” and “This is My Dirt,” Moore has also seen great success from albums such as “Straight Outta Country” and, most recently, “Stray Dog,” which was released in 2023.
While this new single includes Moore’s signature country-twang and traditional country sound, the song makes a lighthearted statement about the radio playing country trends by artists who have never lived the lifestyle they sing about.
In Moore’s Facebook post announcing the new single, he said “We had some fun putting country back in country music with this one. It’s tongue in cheek and isn’t meant to be offensive by any stretch to any other artist out there who does other stuff, but [is] definitely a fun tune.”
Moore also encouraged his fans to “go crank it up.” Moore’s latest single is now available on all streaming platforms, and has been played over 113,000 times on Spotify. It’s currently ranked as incredibly popular by Apple iTunes, where it is available to be purchased.
Produced by Jeremy Stover, a longtime collaborator of Moore, “Put A Boot In It” was written by Moore, in collaboration with Stover, Will Bundy and Randy Montana.
