New York Times bestselling author John Green will attend a Q&A at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Fayetteville Town Center.

The general public may start reserving tickets at noon on Oct. 31. A live stream will be also available and will be hosted on the UA Productions YouTube channel.

John Green is perhaps most popular for writing “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was made into a major motion picture in 2014 starring Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley. He’s also written various other young adult books, including “Looking for Alaska,” “An Abundance of Katherines,” “Paper Towns,” “Will Grayson, Will Grayson” and “Turtles All the Way Down.”

Green is also well-known for his career on YouTube, along with his brother, Hank. Together, they created the YouTube channels “vlogbrothers” and “Crash Course.”

Recently, John Green has worked to raise awareness about tuberculosis and lower the cost of the drugs used to treat the disease. He’s also spoken out against book bans, particularly those that prohibit his books from being on library shelves. Through posting about and explaining these and other issues on his social media platforms, Green simultaneously raises awareness and educates the public.
