For the last three Saturdays in October, guests can join in on the fun and exciting Howl-O-Ween parties at the Little Rock Zoo!

 

While dressed in your Halloween best, you can expect an amazing magic show, meet some fairytale characters, play on any of the playgrounds and enjoy a ride on the trick-or-treat train. You can also participate in special animal feedings, which will occur from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. during each day of festivities.

 

Here’s what the zoo has planned:

9 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Fairytale Characters in Entry Plaza/Meet & Greet

9 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Halloween Crafts in Echo Dome – Inner Plaza

9:30 a.m.: Penguins – Daily Feeding

10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.: Derrick Rose Magic Show at the Civitan Amphitheater

10:30 a.m.: Alligator Chat (temperature dependent)

11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: “Farm Animals and Friends” Encounter at the Farm *Free Feedings*

11:30 a.m.: Costume Contest at the Civitan Amphitheater Hosted by Fairytale Characters (No Face Masks, Face Coverings or Face Paint Allowed on Adults)

1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Derrick Rose Magic Show at the Civitan Amphitheater

1:30 p.m.: Rhino Keeper Chat

1:30 p.m.: Great Apes Keeper Chat and Feed

2 p.m.: Siamangs Keeper Chat

2:30 p.m.: Elephants Keeper Chat

2:30 p.m.: Outpost Chat Between Cheetah, Maned Wolf and Porcupine

3:30 p.m.: Penguins – Daily Feeding

 

Princess Schedule:

Oct. 14: Anna, Kristoff, Tinkerbelle and Belle

Oct. 21: Elsa, Cinderella, Fairy Godmother and Ariel

Oct. 28: Elsa, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty and Barbie

 

The cost of the event is the same as regular zoo admission. Carousel tickets are $3 per person; ages three and below ride for free.

 

On Saturday, Oct. 21 ONLY, there will be Hip Hop Howl-O-Ween Yoga in the plaza from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. This event costs $15 per person. If interested, click here.
