Heather Baker’s Weekend Plans: Maumelle Bash, Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally and More

Let’s ride! The 13th annual Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally is the place to be Thursday-Saturday if you’re a motorcycle enthusiast. There are going to be several unique bikes to admire, a parade, games and live entertainment by Mustang Sally and Foreigner. Most events will take place at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Join the Arkansas Ovarian Cancer Coalition at the Clinton Presidential Center between 7 and 10 p.m. as they kick off ovarian cancer awareness month. There’s going to be a silent auction, a photo booth, raffle items, a wine pull and plenty of Mexican food and drinks to go around. They’ll also be presenting the Taryn’s Fight Like a Girl Scholarship Award, the AROVCC Member of the Year Award and the AROVCC Community Champion Award. The bridges downtown will also light up teal. Survivors can reserve a free ticket, and luminaries are available to be displayed in honor and memory of loved ones. Stone’s Throw Brewing is releasing Big Dam Horn O’Plenty, and the brew’s namesake, The Big Dam Horns, will have the launch party rolling at Four Quarter Bar. Show up at 10 p.m., and prepare to be immersed in flavor and flair.   


If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, look no further. Maumelle Bash on the Boulevard is will be in full swing from noon to 8 p.m. at Towne Centre. There will be something for everyone, including arts and crafts, a beer garden, an art gallery, a car showcase, game day TV sporting events, vendors, entertainment and more! Dinner, drinks, face painting, a silent auction, bounce houses and a petting zoo are just a few of the things you’ll find at Arkansas Foodbank’s 3rd Annual Harvest Night. Enjoy yourself between 5 and 8 p.m., all while supporting a fantastic cause! There will be BBQ and catfish, as well as desserts from Honey Pies and Loblolly.
