Go Back in Time to the 80s for a Mall Party!

In July, hop into the DeLorean and go back in time to the raging 80s!

The Downtown Little Rock Partnership (DLRP) is hosting a truly retro, glam 80s Mall Party on Saturday, July 13, at the old Main Street Mall. The party will be a time capsule of all the trends from the decade and will honor the DLRP’s 35^thanniversary.

“Downtown Little Rock Partnership got its start in 1984,” Gabe Holmstrom, executive director of DLRP, says. “In honor of our 35th birthday, we wanted to do something special and fun to capture the spirit of that time and throw a party that everyone could enjoy, regardless of whether they remember the 80’s or not.”

And you definitely don’t want to miss this party because some special guests will be making an appearance – Marty McFly and Doc Brown’s DeLorean.

Get down with your bad self to the sound of some great tunes and classic music videos that will be playing. There’s even a lip sync contest for those brave souls who want to show out! If you’re more in the playing mood, there will be an arcade that will bring back memories of lazy days at the bowling alley.

While they’re recovering from all the dancing, attendees will enjoy some tasty food from Slick’s Grill, including burgers and fries, and it wouldn’t be a true party without some great adult beverages.

Tickets for the event are $20, while VIP tickets are $40. VIP tickets, in addition to general admission, grant access to the Rock City Kicks Lounge, two drink tickets and food from Samantha’s Tap Room and Wood Grill.

Party goers must be 21 years or old.

The party will be held Saturday, July 13, from 7-11 p.m., at the old Main Street Mall, located at 101 East Capitol Avenue.
