Georgia Pellegrini, who has been described as a mix between Carrie Bradshaw and Annie Oakley, brought more than a dozen women to Arkansas’ capital city last month for an Adventure Getaway weekend.

Pellegrini’s getaways are a chance for people to travel to different parts of the country and experience new adventures.

Pellegrini, an author, TV host, chef and hunter, has hosted at least 16 Adventure Getaways in various states. This trip was the first to take place in Arkansas, although she visits the state often.

The fun kicked off when guests arrived at the Capital Hotel. Participants explored the city by trolley and spent the evening at South on Main in the SoMa district and dined on “a wild game feast” prepared by Chef Matt Bell. The ladies enjoyed clay shooting at the new state-of-the-art Arkansas Game and Fish shooting range in preparation for a day of hunting in the field.

The weekend included Pellegrini leading a wild game cooking demonstration, exploring Marlsgate Plantation, hunting teal and dove on private land and enjoying a canoe trip at Pinnacle Mountain.
