Main Street Food Truck Festival will take place this Sunday, Sept. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Little Rock. The festival will include a variety of food trucks suitable for every person’s cravings, arts, crafts, marketplace vendors and more. 


Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux will open its Fayetteville location on Tuesday, Sept. 6. This will be the Louisiana-based restaurant and bar’s second Northwest Arkansas location, but its first in Fayetteville. The restaurant is located at 1199 N. Petit & Keet recently announced the return of the Jacques & Suzanne Legacy Celebration dates, slated for Sept. 14- Sept. 17. The weeklong event will include their historic predecessor’s legendary menu. Read more about the event in this earlier article

Wicked Taco Factory has moved a few doors from 221 W. Second St. to 215 Center St. inside of the same building located in downtown Little Rock, according to a Facebook post made by the establishment. The new space was formerly home to Lea Lea’s Gourmet Dogs.


Cafe Bossa Nova, located at 2701 Kavanaugh Blvd., has officially reopened its doors after the Brazilian eatery took a small break. The popular Hillcrest-neighborhood restaurant was closed from Aug. 16 to Aug. 30 in order to address the labor shortage, as stated in a Facebook post

Hot Springs’ Mid-America Science Museum, located at 500 Mid-America Blvd., has announced the return of its annual “Taste of the Holidays” fundraiser, which will take place on Nov. 17 and feature samples from over 20 Hot Springs restaurants, caterers, bakeries, breweries and more.


Burgers will go for $9 at area establishments during Rock City Burger Week, Sept. 26 – Oct. 2. Some are creating unique burgers just for the week; others are featuring their usual fare. Arkansas Food Bank will receive $1 from the Arkansas Beef Council for each of the first 1,000 burgers sold at participating restaurants. The list of participating Little Rock restaurants so far includes, The Root Cafe, Big Whiskey’s, Hill Station, The Box, Rosie’s Pot & Kettle, Town Pump, Loca Luna, Red Door, Dugan’s Pub, South on Main, Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro and Alley Oops. Diamond Bear Brewery and Skinny J’s will also be observing Rock City Burger Week in North Little Rock, as will Bennett’s by Keith & Cowill in Sherwood.


Ozark Beer Company has released its dates for Oktoberfest in Rogers. This year’s Oktoberfest lineup includes food trucks, beer, live music and games all day long on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Fort Smith residents have something sweet to look forward to within the coming months. According to the city, Nothing Bundt Cakes has applied for building permits at the Fort Smith Pavilion Shopping Center, to be located at 4201 Phoenix Ave.  


Social Project Brewing Co. will be opening doors to its second Northwest Arkansas location in Springdale, at 205 E. Johnson Ave. The brewing company currently operates its original location in Bentonville, but will begin expanding throughout NWA with this second location. For more information, click here


City officials for Benton confirmed that Whataburger will be coming to Saline County. This will be the popular burger franchise’s seventh Arkansas location. The Benton location is currently being constructed and planned, and will be located at 7250 Alcoa Rd. Read more about the franchise’s latest expansion in this earlier article.
