The Face Of Sherwood

LaToya Bouldes, an active reservist and educator based in Sherwood, Arkansas, started her career with the end in mind, “Changing people’s lives and improving their quality of life.” A Reservist in the United States Army, LaToya knows a thing or two about making a home or business a safe place in a chosen community where connecting to the people is often a number one priority.

“Being a mother and wife and able to balance a successful career in real estate and Military gives me an advantage,” she says.

The best qualities in people, LaToya believes, is honesty and openness. Connecting with clients on that level is important because it is admirable in others.

In fact, she looks to the life and work of national poet and speaker Maya Angelou and her current mentor Maurice Taylor for daily inspiration and encouragement in order to give her best to her Clients.

“I am me,” she says proudly. “I am a Southern girl that loves to serve the people that God has set before me. I’m a fighter; problem solver; caring person.”

Perhaps, there is one aspect of her life, she says, that gives her purpose beyond her career, but that is also the reason she holds her work to the highest standards in the business.

“I’m a mother of three wonderful children — Aniya, 17, Amaya, 16 and Cameron, 12,” she says.
