Celebrated chefs to do battle this spring for culinary supremacy


The Delta Diamond Chef Culinary Competition officials announced the field of eight for its inaugural competition. The list, which was announced Feb. 10, includes some of the state’s most accomplished chefs who will face off in April for a chance to advance to the Delta Diamond Chefs finals this fall.


“We are thrilled to showcase these chefs through this prestigious competition,” said Todd Gold, senior director of hospitality at Saracen Casino Resort and one of the event’s competition chairs. “The field features exceptional talent who all have a passion for culinary excellence. This competition will provide a outstanding platform by which they will demonstrate their creativity and expertise in the culinary field.”


The 2024 Delta Diamond Chef Culinary Competition preliminary field includes:

The preliminary round of competition will be held Friday, April 26 at the UA – Pulaski Tech Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute in Little Rock, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The finals are slated for October.
