Women’s Own Worth (WOW) has announced they have officially set a date for WOWapalooza 2023 to be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion. This year’s event will be held as a luncheon, while in previous years, the annual event was held as a gala.

Each year, WOWapalooza aims to raise awareness and provide support to victims and survivors of violence. Attendees will be treated to a lovely lunch, exciting auction items and will learn about transition homes.

Tickets and sponsorships are available now. To make a donation please visit, Women’s Own Worth or email womensownworth@gmail.com.

Women’s Own Worth is a nonprofit organization based in Arkansas that helps women and their families regain their self-worth after experiencing the effects of trauma. WOW provides a range of services, including counseling, assistance with living arrangements and transportation, dental and physical health, higher education scholarships and victim advocacy.

Thanks to the support of WOW’s donors, the organization has been able to create a community for survivors. The first Villa is already occupied by survivors, and WOW is still in need of funds to complete the driveway and an outdoor living area for all families. The goal is to start on the next villa as soon as possible.

To learn more about WOW and how you could be involved in helping victims of abuse, please visit Women’s Own Worth. Donations support professional services to help heal and give back to victims of domestic violence.

As always, WOW would like to remind our friends, for immediate help with domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. In case of an emergency, call 911. For non-emergency assistance, our local number is 501-303-9978.
