Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art recently ranked No. 2 on USA Today’s list of the 10 Best Museums in the U.S. that you can visit for free. 

 

This list encapsulates the nation’s biggest and brightest $0 admission museums, which are full of captivating, enriching and enlightening information. 

 

According to the list, Crystal Bridges earned its ranking by living up to its mission of celebrating the American spirit through its five centuries’ worth of American art. These pieces range from the colonial period to the modern day with works by Norman Rockwell, Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe. 

 

The No. 1 ranked museum on this list is the National Infantry Museum & Soldier Center in Columbus, Georgia. Other museums ranked include the Saint Louis Science Center, Baltimore Museum of Art, Wagner Free Institute of Science, The Blue Ridge Music Center, the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
