It’s Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede!

“Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” in Branson is the height of Christmas merriment, featuring holiday music, delicious food and an exciting show.

In the 32,000 sq. ft. arena there’s a cast of 32 magnificent horses, skilled riders — and in the Christmas show – camels, donkeys, and sheep for the live nativity!

“Adagio on Ice” is back this year, with world-renowned skaters appearing exclusively in Branson. You’ll love the fun and friendly rivalries between the North and South Poles that feature amazing equestrian feats, music and comedy, even some audience participation.

The Sugar Plum Fairy stars in the “Magic of Toys” musical production. This is a beautiful segment; in Santa’s sleepy toy room the Sugar Plum Fairy brings toys to life in a colorful, stunning aerial display. The number is set to the unforgettable music of the Nutcracker Suite. The live nativity is extraordinary, with Mary and Joseph, shepherds leading donkeys and their flock of sheep, and wise men on regal camels.

Dolly’s yuletide feast is mouth-wateringly delicious. The homemade biscuit is light and flaky, and the creamy vegetable soup may be my favorite part of the meal. (The good news is there’s a mix for the soup available in the gift shop!) A whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked barbecued pork loin, herb-basted potato, buttery corn on the cob, and a holiday dessert round out the menu. Dolly Parton’s Stampede satisfies all your senses!

Be sure you arrive at Dolly Parton’s Stampede early to enjoy the Horse Walk and meet the gorgeous equine stars of the show in their gleaming, polished stalls. (The 32 horses consume 104,000 pounds of grain annually and generate 832,000 pounds of manure. Just in case you were wondering!)

Pre-show in the Carriage Room begins an hour before the show. You’ll be entertained by the White River Wranglers, three brothers who share comedy and holiday music. It’s great family entertainment that’s exciting and fast-paced. Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede will become a favorite holiday tradition!

Shows through January 5, 2019, and the 25th season of Dolly Parton’s Stampede opens February 22, 2019. Enjoy!
