Buc-ee’s fans, rejoice! The travel center that has garnered a cult following across the U.S. will soon open the doors to its location in Benton.

The center, located at 1400 Highway 229, will be open to the public at 6 a.m. Aug. 17. An official ribbon-cutting will take place that same day at 10 a.m., according to a company press release. It will mark Buc-ee’s 58th location and feature 120 fuel pumps. At 74,000 square feet, it will be among the largest Buc-ee’s locations. However, the one in Luling, Texas, remains the largest.

“We obviously picked Benton, the ‘Heart of Arkansas,’ to be the first Buc-ee’s in the Natural State. Folks on their way to or from Hot Springs or any number of beautiful destinations around Benton and Little Rock will stop in for our great Texas BBQ, the cleanest restrooms in the universe, and a pit stop beyond their wildest expectations,” said Stan Beard, a media representative for Buc-ee’s.

This new travel center location is expected to create more than 200 jobs with full benefits, a 401(k) match and three weeks of vacation. For more information about joining the team, click here.
