Baptist Health Foundation’s 2026 Bolo Bash Golf Tournament welcomed more than 500 golfers and secured $480,000 to support behavioral health services in Arkansas. The event took place on Sept. 14 and 15 at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock.
“The Bolo Bash Golf Tournament brought so many of our partners together to support Baptist Health’s mission of providing quality, compassionate care,” said Janet K. Marshall, chief development officer at the foundation. “Baptist Health Foundation was honored to champion this work alongside those who are generous with their resources and shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of others.”
Foundation staff enjoyed greeting every team at the event, seeing longtime supporters and meeting first-year players.
“Seeing both men and women on the courses, some from out-of-state, bringing their best game and highest energy, really showed how this tournament continues the tradition of channeling great competition into incredible charitable support,” said Marvin Childers, co-chair.

The two-day event included more than just golf for the guests. Each golfer was presented with Bolo Bucks, used in an exclusive golf shop, where the golfers selected their own participation gift. Golfers could play the interactive games of Plinko and Operation, in which each player chose a gift just for playing.
“Hot weather aside, playing in the Bolo Bash Golf Tournament is always a highlight,” Harper said. “The tournament is well run and organized, and the camaraderie brings teams back year after year. Knowing every swing supports a vital cause within Baptist Health makes the tournament so much more meaningful.”
The fundraiser is unique in that the money raised supports a different cause at Baptist Health each year.

The 2026 funds will benefit Baptist Health Behavioral Health Services. The funds provide essential therapy and medication for uninsured patients and support the expansion of telehealth capabilities in rural areas. The money can also be used for suicide prevention education, equipment upgrades for inpatient care and transportation for discharged patients in need.
The tournament will return to Chenal Country Club on Sept. 20 and 21, 2027. The foundation plans to continue its legacy of providing financial support to advance Baptist Health’s healing ministry and compassionate care across Arkansas.
“Baptist Health Foundation would like to extend a sincere thank you to our golfers, sponsors and volunteers for their generous support,” Marshall said. “Their participation made the tournament another success and a great time.”
