Baptist Health hosted its 30th annual Bolo Bash Wednesday afternoon. The event opened with Baptist Health Foundation’s new Chief Development Officer Reanetta Hunt speaking on behalf of the organization.

“I have had the opportunity to work with administrators who I’ve met from all around the state from Conway, North Little Rock. We are talking about some incredible people who work very hard to make sure that optimum care is provided here at Baptist Health for all Arkansans,” says Hunt.

2019 Bolo Bash Chairman Katherine Blackmon-Carroll spoke after Hunt’s welcome. Carroll spoke about her husband’s recent hospitalization praising the nurses and staff for their comfort and support.

“We are in your debt, Baptist, and we are honored to support you. Thank you so much for letting me and my family be a part of Baptist Health,” says Carroll.

This event featured an interview with Emmy Award-winning actress Linda Gray. AY writer Lisa Fischer conducted the interview asking questions about her experience as an actress working on television shows like Dallas.

“I was put on the planet to be a worker bee,” says Gray. “I think the day that I retire is when these feet no longer touch the ground. Then I’ll say, ‘Okay, it’s been a great adventure.’”

Funds from this event went to help provide nursing scholarships for students at Baptist Health College in Little Rock and help with costs for current nurses continuing their education for Baptist Health.
