Even the daffodils have been affected by the pandemic. Kidding. But the winter snowstorm last month did make a damper on the traditional early blooms for the flower that reminds us it’s close to spring!

The daffodil: we can talk about whether you call it a jonquil or narcissus but first, plan on making the trip to Wye Mountain to the Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival.

Last week was the kick off to this yearly treat, but there just weren’t any blooms.

These photos from the Wye Mountain Church from yesterday show that there is something to show now! There is rain in the forecast on Sunday, but good news-the festival is extended until the 21st, the spring equinox.

Take photos and send them to us at AY About You.
