The Ballet Arkansas Board of Directors and event co-chairs Betty and Bob Brinkley have announced the anticipated 10th Annual Turning Pointe Gala, “Confetti.” As Ballet Arkansas’ premier fundraising event, the Turning Pointe Gala raises funds to support the continued cultural enrichment in the community through world-class professional dance performances, accessible education and outreach programs.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Wildwood Park for the Arts. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with live music by JAZZ R US, a silent and live auction, a “backstage” dinner and full seated performance, a moonlight farewell with dessert, dancing and live music by the Dizzy 7 band.

Chris Cranford and Cranford Co., creative partners of Ballet Arkansas, will be presented with the Above the Barre Award in honor of their vision and commitment to progressing the art scene in Arkansas.

All funds raised from the Turning Pointe Gala will go toward the expansion of Ballet Arkansas’ presence statewide through touring, education and outreach programs. This event helps Ballet Arkansas continue to bring in celebrated artists and performances for the Natural State to enjoy.

Guests that are not able to attend may register to participate in the silent auction or make a donation to Ballet Arkansas to go toward the Gala fundraising goal.
