Producing Branch Manager, Mortgage Banker, The Lyles Team, Sente Mortgage
Stefanie Lyles grew up the child of a history and geography teacher, and although she might not have turned into an archaeologist or geologist as a result, she still grew up learning that everything — and everyone — has a story. That understanding helps shape her work today both with The Lyles Team at Sente Mortgage and in her personal advocacy efforts.
“Family and home have shaped nearly every part of my life, from a career spent in mortgage lending, helping people find their way into a place of their own, to my past volunteer work with the Lonoke County Safe Haven and Court Appointed Special Advocates, standing up for children and families who need someone in their corner,” Lyles said. “It all comes back to the same thing: making sure people have a safe, stable place to call home.”
Lyles defined her path as one marked by hard work, many failures and “a lot of people who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.” That ability to dust oneself off and try again is another trait fostered in Lyles since childhood, when her parents instilled in her the belief that she could do anything she set her mind to.
“Even at this stage in life, I’m not afraid to try something new or potentially scary,” Lyles said. “What’s the worst that could happen? It is in this vein that I decided a few years ago to try my hand at furniture-building, and I’ve built some decent pieces.”

Despite a thoroughly left-brain dominant career navigating the ins and outs of mortgage lending, Lyles said she is actually a creative who loves both collecting and creating beautiful things. She has collected McCoy Pottery since she was 19 years old, and her home is now full of the unique, colorful pieces. A native of the small Ozark town of Fifty-Six in Stone County, Lyles and her husband, Blake, have lived and built their careers in Cabot since 2000.
“I love being a mom and wife more than any other role,” Lyles said.
