When there is a job that needs doing, a problem that needs fixing or a community that needs changing, it is often remarkable men and women who rise to the occasion.
However, this is the time of year that AY About You brings the men into the spotlight with our Men of Distinction section.
What does it mean to be a man of distinction?
Benjamin Franklin summed it up well when he said, “There never was yet a truly great man that was not at the same time truly virtuous.”
A man who is virtuous often puts others before himself and does what is right whenever possible, just as these men on the forthcoming pages do. There are approximately 1.5 million men in Arkansas, but the 41 men that make up this year’s cohort truly stand out from the crowd.
