How can I make sure this is the year my resolution actually sticks?
First, stop calling it a resolution. Most people fail because they try to overhaul everything at once and rely on motivation instead of habits. Pick one or two nonnegotiables you can do consistently — such as strength training twice a week or walking daily — and build from there. Consistency beats intensity every time.
How can I incorporate more exercise into my routine as a busy parent/professional/etc.?
Dedicated, structured workouts matter, especially for building strength and staying consistent. When time allows, longer training sessions provide the focus and intensity needed for real progress. On days when that isn’t possible, movement still needs to happen. Walking, mobility work or lighter activity helps prevent long periods of inactivity and supports overall health.
What is the best way to get my diet back on track after the holidays?
The goal isn’t to reset or punish your body; it’s to return to structure. Start with whole foods, adequate protein, hydration and regular meals. For some people, short-term fasting or simply tightening eating windows can be a helpful tool to reduce mindless snacking and create awareness around hunger cues, but it’s not mandatory and shouldn’t be extreme. One solid choice at a time is what brings consistency back.
