In partnership with the Innovation Hub and the Arkansas Arts Council, North Little Rock-based marketing company American Business Engine will host ARKAST: Arkansas Podcast Convention at the Innovation Hub on Sept. 8, 2022.

ARKAST is the first of its kind in the state and will feature some of the most successful podcasters from across Arkansas. Panelists will speak about their own podcasts, explain their road to success, and answer questions on how to get started in the industry.

On the showroom floor, equipment retailers will provide demonstrations of the latest in microphones and recording technology. Workshops will run throughout the day with information about creating a podcast from conception to distribution.

“This is an exciting event and opportunity for Arkansas as we continually move forward

technologically and redefine how to build a career,” said Errin Stanger, director of the Innovation Hub.

General admission is $12. VIP tickets are available for $20 and give attendees full access to a number of workshops as well as a VIP section with the panelists.

Panelists will include Arkansas podcasters who have found national success such as Hilary Downey of Balance by Hilary, Sarah Heer of Arkie Travels, and singer/songwriter duo Cliff and Susan Prowse.

American Business Engine creates websites for businesses, manages social media accounts, and hosts networking events across the state of Arkansas.

The Innovation Hub is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Arkansans by inspiring innovation and expanding opportunities.
