Pizza Hut is bringing back its iconic 1990s “retro” locations — including five in Arkansas — with red-and-white checkered tablecloths, Tiffany-style lamps, classic video arcade games, red cups and, of course, red roofs.
The Arkansas locations getting a retro refit are in Ashdown, Eureka Springs, Harrison, Huntsville and Mountain Home. Harrison has two Pizza Huts — the one at 1602 North Main is getting retrofitted. The Ashdown restaurant is located at 1110 South Constitution; the Eureka store is at 2048 East Van Buren; Pizza Hut in Huntsville is located at 137 Lee Street; the Mountain Home location is at 1205 Highway 62 East.
According to a press release from parent company YUM!, “families are traveling from neighboring towns and sometimes neighboring states, to experience the retro-inspired restaurants firsthand.”
“For many guests, the experience goes beyond pizza,” a news release stated. “It’s about reconnecting with memories of gathering around the red checkered tablecloth covered table with friends and family.”
