Food and lifestyle publication 24/7 Tempo recently released a list of “The 25 Best Old-School Italian Restaurants in America,” and one Arkansas restaurant made the list!

Venesian Inn, located at 582 W Henri de Tonti Blvd in Tontitown, is the restaurant that caught the eye of the publication. The Italian restaurant has been family-owned and operated since Germano Gasparotto opened it in 1947, later selling it to the Granata family, who are still in charge.

The restaurant’s specialty is combining Italian and Southern influences (spaghetti and fried chicken) while also offering menu items like three-cheese lasagna, chicken ravioli, fried shrimp, sandwiches and more. And as an additional fun fact, the publication notes that Tontitown was actually founded by Italian immigrants in 1898. How much more old-school Italian could you get in the state of Arkansas?

If you’d like to try Venesian Inn for yourself, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
