Looking for a place to celebrate the Fourth of July? Searcy is pulling out all the stops for America’s 250th birthday with the return of the United We Stand Festival on Saturday, July 4.

Hosted by the City of Searcy and Searcy Beats & Eats, the 6th annual celebration has become one of Arkansas’ largest Independence Day events. This year’s lineup includes live music, food trucks, family activities, a patriotic tribute, a drone show and a fireworks finale.

Parking officially opens at 4 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can explore food trucks and merchant vendors while kids enjoy the Kid Zone, complete with inflatables, bounce houses, obstacle courses, a petting zoo and other family-friendly attractions. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of entertainment.

The White County Community Band will kick off the music at 6 p.m., followed by Makiyah Mustiful, a Top 20 finalist on Season 24 of American Idol, at 6:30 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m., the festival will pause for a special patriotic program honoring America’s 250th birthday with tributes to the nation’s history, military service and the freedoms Americans enjoy.

The music continues at 8:30 p.m. when Handsome Devils, an Eagles tribute band, takes the stage to perform many of the legendary group’s biggest hits.

Admission is free. Parking is $5 per vehicle, and unlimited access to the Kid Zone is available for $5 per child.

“This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as our nation marks its 250th birthday,” said Mayor Mat Faulkner. “United We Stand has become one of Searcy’s signature events, and we’re excited to welcome families from across Arkansas to celebrate our nation’s history, our freedoms, and our community together.”
