It can be said that Amber Doggett has been in the furniture and décor business for the vast majority of her life. At four, she began making appearances in television commercials for Herring Furniture, a single-store operation in Strong, Ark., started by her grandfather in 1942 then passed to her father. Today, she owns Vivid Designs, a full-service interior design and furniture store that specializes in custom furnishings and accessories. Doggett studied design at the University of Central Arkansas. She and her husband, John, have four children, the youngest of whom are twins.
