4 Fun Events Around Little Rock This Weekend


The 3rd Friday Argenta Art Walk features the galleries along Main Street North Little Rock. A few events this Friday are: the 23rd Anniversary Exhibition at Greg Thompson Fine Art, the Yang Luo-Branch exhibit at the Thea Foundation, Barry Thomas Fine Art & Studio will feature paintings of Arkansas’ beautiful landscapes and much more. The event kicks off at 6 p.m.


American Idol winner Kris Allen and his band will be performing at We AR One: Rock the Rock inside the Great Hall at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock. The event is a fundraiser for Independent Case Management (ICM). ICM provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Enjoy delicious food, local craft beer and wine, while you listen to great music. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60.

Beer, Burgers and Bots at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub is a rip-roaring, side-splitting, fast-paced robot wrestling competition! It’s a gladiatorial festival that celebrates the warrior-geek in all of us. If you’re interested in viewing the annual robotics tournament, early bird tickets are $10, $15 day of the event.

Saturday and Sunday

Ballet Arkansas Presents Tour de Force hosted by UA – Pulaski Tech: The Center for Humanities and Arts and Ballet Arkansas this Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday 2 p.m. Experience a bold series of premieres in the inaugural winter concert series. See the eye-catching Chiaroscuro by Michael Fothergill, the elegance of La Esmerelda Pas de Fleurs, and much more. The performance will be at UA – Pulaski Tech CHARTS Theater in North Little Rock, 3000 West Scenic Drive. Tickets are $18 to $35.
