Little Rock-based Rescue Road will host its 9th annual Mutts & Mudbugs event on Thursday, April 25 at The Hall. The purpose of the event is to raise money to support dogs in Arkansas’s high-kill shelters.

As Rescue Road’s largest event of the year, attendees can expect all-you-can-eat crawfish, an open bar, live music and a night of dancing. There will be a silent auction and opportunities to sponsor dogs in Rescue Road’s care. All proceeds go directly to well-being and rescue efforts dedicated to Arkansas dogs.

“Amidst rising costs in every aspect of our lives, from food, fuel, and travel- it’s no different in rescue efforts. We need to keep working to raise money to help cover costs for heartworm treatments and other life-saving medical needs,” Rescue Road Fundraising & Event Co-chair Kyndall Rogers said.

“We pride ourselves in throwing a fun, laid-back event,” Rescue Road Fundraising & Event Co-chair Alex Graham said. “What’s not to love about enjoying delicious food, dancing to Parker Francis Band, and celebrating the community coming together to support a noble cause? I love that the event is so focused on our mission that every dog deserves a chance at a better life.”

Rescue Road is proud to serve the communities of our main shelter partners: West Memphis, Stuttgart, Pine Bluff, Carlisle, Hazen and Dewitt. Before Rescue Road’s involvement, these shelters’ euthanasia rates were 80-90%. Through Rescue Road’s efforts, most of these partner shelters no longer euthanize for space.

General admission for Mutts & Mudbugs is $80 per person. Click here to purchase tickets or make a donation.
