Downtown Springdale and Baldwin & Shell are hosting a 3-day art event that showcases the talented creatives in the downtown and NWA region. The community can enjoy a free self-guided art tour, special ticketed events including the Art Crawl and Comedy Show, The Emma Exchange featuring local vendors and the Monarch Flight Festival.


The ART WALK is a free self-guided tour on the following days:
Thursday, Sept. 14: 4-8 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 15: 4-8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 16: 12-6 p.m.


More than 15 artists will be featured in businesses throughout the downtown area. The artists and a map of the ART WALK can be found here.


The ART WALK kicks off on Sept. 14 with an ART WALK Comedy Show at the Apollo on Emma Avenue. Featured comedians include local favorites and nationally touring comedians Kenneth Crabgrass, Joe Means, Shaan Choppala and The Frisco Kid. Matinee and evening tickets are available here. This is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting future ART WALKs.


An Art Crawl takes place on Sept. 14 from 6-8 p.m. Ticketed guests can visit featured stops on the ART WALK, meet with the artists and enjoy a pour. Tickets are just $5 and are available here.


A new sculpture will be unveiled in Turnbow Park leading up to the Monarch Flight Festival. The sculpture is a piece of the “Glass in Flight II” collection that will be showcased at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks from November until the end of January.


The Monarch Flight festival takes place on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 12-4 p.m. with activities at Turnbow Park, Shiloh Museum of Ozark History and The Medium. This free and family-friendly event celebrates the endangered Monarch Butterfly with tours of a Monarch Waystation Garden, a Monarch parade for kids, bilingual story time, a vendor fair and a release of butterflies.
